Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS)

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a confidential service which focuses on improving health care services provided to NHS patients across the borough.

Sometimes as a patient, relative or carer you may need someone to turn to for on- the- spot help advice and support.

The PALS service will assist you in raising and resolving any concerns you may have about the healthcare we provide, we will act on your behalf when handling your concerns, liaising with staff and managers to agree immediate or timely solutions.

We understand people are sometimes reluctant to raise their concerns because they don’t want to make a formal complaint or inconvenience staff. However, it is useful for us to receive positive or negative feedback on all aspects of NHS services, in order that we may strive to improve in the future.
