What is the Interest Group?

NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale look to provide patients and their families carers and members of the community with relevant and valuable information on health, services and issues relating to the NHS. One of the ways we do this is by asking people to join our Interest groups. The groups are made up of people who have an interest in certain areas of health or a particular service.

By becoming a member of our Interest Group you will receive the latest information and news directly from NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.

Why does NHS Heywood Middleton & Rochdale need an Interest Group?

NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale want the public to gain more knowledge about what we do and about health issues that affect our local communities.  Our aim is to provide people with the information they need to help them feel happier and healthier.

How does the Interest Group work?

Anyone who wishes to become part of our Interest Groups will receive information on the specified area of interest, as and when this information is issued or updated.

How does the information get to me?

Information can be delivered by post or email, whichever you prefer.

We can also send you information in different languages and formats to meet your needs. Whether that’s large print, Braille, audio copies or in many different languages.

What if I have any comments or ideas on the information I have received?

If you wish to comment on any of the information you receive, we will happily receive your comments via the comments form that you will receive.

What if I don’t want to receive any further information?

If, at any point you wish to stop receiving information form NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, all you need to do is contact us and we will remove your name from our mailing list.

What if I want to become more involved in services with the NHS?

If you would like to become more involved within NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, please contact the Patient Experience Team on the contact details provided.
